A well known toast is ‘health before wealth’. When dem old bones need fixing health certainly does seem more inviting then wealth.

The doctors they mending dem old bones,

The old boy in pain cause of dem old bones,

Now his Toe bone is connected to his foot bone
And his foot bone is connected to his sore heel bone
His sore heel bone is still connected to his puffy ankle bone
And his puffy ankle bone is still connected to his dented shin bone
His dented shin bone is still connected to his knackered knee bone
His knackered knee bone is still connected to his weak thigh bone
Now hear the word of the Lord.
The doctors dey happy wid dose old bones,
The doctors dey happy wid dose old bones,
But dey not happy wid dese old bones,
Now hear the word of the Lord.
You see his weak thigh bone needs reconnecting to his fecked hip bone
And his fecked hip bone should be connected to his non-existent back bone
His non-existent back bone should be connected to his slopey shoulder bone
And his slopey shoulder bone should be connected to his no-neck bone
Finally his no-neck bone should be connected to his solid head bone
Now hear the word of the Lord.

Is the old boy gonna sprint wid dem old bones?
